  • How Often Are The Auctions?
Our auctions are held every 5 to 6 weeks on a Monday. Catalogues are available on our website to view or download and a printed catalogue is available at The Auction Rooms during open viewing. Each auction has approximately 600 lots in the sale and the auctioneer goes through approximately 70 lots per hour.
  • When Can I View The Lots In The Auction?
The sale can be viewed in person during our open viewing. We are open for viewing during the week before the sale day. Viewing is open to the public on Thursday from 10am to 5pm, Friday from 10am to 5pm, Saturday from 12pm to 5pm and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm before the day of the auction. All lots will be available to view online 10 days before the sale. You can view each lot on our Easy Live Auction page. If you need more information on a particular lot we can carry out a detailed condition report and send it to you along with additional photographs.
  • How Do I Bid In Your Auction?
Bidding In Person You can come to The Auction Rooms and bid in person. You must provide your name, address, phone number, email address and ID. Please come in to register at reception at least 1 hour before the lot you are interested in is up for sale. The auctioneer sells approximately 70 lots per hour. Bidding Live Online You can register to bid online through Easy Live Auction Prior to bidding online, you will need to register an account with Easy Live Auction. They offer 2 registration options. Option 1 is a flat rate of £3 or Option 2 is a 3% commission on top of our commission of 18% plus VAT of 23% for bidding with Ushers. Commission / Absentee Bidding If you cannot attend or do not wish to bid online you can leave a bid with us. You can fill out a bid form, noting the lot number, description and maximum amount you wish to bid, along with your name, address, phone number and email. We would recommend leaving a plus 1 bid on top of your maximum bid. This will give you a better chance of leaving a successful bid. We will be on hand to advise you if required. During the auction, we will then bid on your behalf, taking into account any reserve or other bids left with us. Telephone Bidding We can call you to bid live on the telephone during the auction. This service is offered for lots valued at over €100. We will call you approximately 5 lots beforehand. Please ensure you are available to answer the phone. Buyer’s Premium Commission for any successful bid is 18% plus VAT (currently 23%) on top of the hammer price. For example: If the hammer price is €100, you pay a commission of €18 + €4.14 VAT. This gives you a total invoice price of €122.14.

Items left uncollected after 6 months will be re-sold to cover the cost of storage.
