About Us
Usher's Auction Rooms, set up in 1978, is one of County Meath’s longest established auction houses and one of the most respected in Ireland. Antique, high-class furniture, art and collectable auctions are held every 6 weeks, generally on a Monday.
The 6,000 sq. foot premises, formerly a brewery for Regal Lager, on John Street in the historic town of Kells, Co Meath, can accommodate up to 600 lots per auction. We specialise in antique furniture from the Regency, Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and later periods, along with rare books, artworks and more contemporary pieces. Each auction contains an eclectic and unique range of items from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
We are available to conduct auctions both on and off-site and have a particular interest in specialist sales. We also offer valuation advice for sales, insurance, probate etc.
Our auctions appeal to a broad range of customers, spanning a variety of generations, with many of our original clients, and now their grown families, still coming to look for bargains!
